A whole host of celebrities have taken matters into their own hands after being deprived of their weekly spa treatment and access to the world’s best hair stylists.
With the government’s advice to stay at home, Holly, 39, was among the first to do touch-up her brown roots, while David, 44, shaved off his hair completely.
Holly revealed she has always dyed her own hair and her glossy blonde tresses are the result of a box dye during an Instagram tutorial.
The TV presenter took to the social media app to post a step-by-step tutorial of how she manages to keep her hair platinum blond during lockdown.

The mother-of-three joked she knew people would tell her she was ‘doing it wrong’, however she insisted it’s the way she always does her own hair.
Holly admitted to ‘occasionally’ going to the salon for highlights to break it up, however ‘nine times out of ten’ she will dye it herself at home.
Revealing the impressive finished product once she had finished, Holly exclaimed: ‘No roots, no disasters.’
Giving her followers some background to the clip, she penned: ‘Tomorrow morning on @thismorning I know I will get an awful lot of questions asking how come I’ve managed to get my hair colour done whilst we are in lockdown’
David joined legions of men across the country and shaved his head as he struggled without a barber.
The former footballer initially hid his new do under a cap while having dinner with his family before taking to Instagram to debut the look.
David joked it ‘had to be done’ as he shared a black and white selfie while lounging on the sofa.
He has since hid his bald head under an array of different flat caps and beanies.
Denise Van Outen, 45, asked her boyfriend Eddie Boxshall to do her roots, while Kelly Brook gave boyfriend Jeremy Parisi’s hair a trim on Tuesday, after nearly a month in lockdown.
The Loose Women presenter captured the moment, which showed a shirtless Eddie diligently putting the hair paste into Denise’s hair, under the supervision of her hair stylist whom they were FaceTiming.
Denise wrote: ‘When you let your other half do your roots during lockdown. @eddieboxshall under the supervision of @alfieoneill_ ❤️ #isolationcreation #stayhome #staysafe #savelives’.
Jeremy also appeared pleased with Kelly’s handywork after she worked her magic with some hair clippers.
