Nikki Bella Reveals Being Raped Twice As A Teenager

Former WWE diva Nikki Bella recently made a shocking revelation that she was raped twice as a teenager. This shocking information came through her new book ‘Incomparable’ co-written by her twin sister, Brie Bella.

Nikki Bella shared the details of the horrific incident, she said that she was raped when she was just 15, by a high-school student who she thought was her friend. Former WWE star was then raped again next year by a college-age man after being drugged by him. Nikki has said that these incidents have impacted her relationships, this can be noticed as Nikki always had trust issues with the men she dated after that incident.

Nikki wrote in her book, “There is the horrible offence in the moment, and then the shame and blame that follow and feel almost worse than the original pain. When something like this happens to you, you understand the blame-the-victim mentality, how easy it is to feel shame rather than anger, how easy it is to feel like you could have stopped it yourself”.

“When that happened to me, I immediately just felt so ashamed and blamed myself, and that’s what made me want to keep it such a secret. And keeping that a secret and blaming myself, I started to lose my confidence. I started to disrespect myself. And then the relationships I got into at a young age, I let other people disrespect me and felt like, that’s okay, this is what I deserved.

“I was like that for a really long time. I would go to therapy on and off. Looking at it now I’m like, ‘Oh Nicole, I wish you just would’ve let go at a young age. So much would have changed for you.’ And I think that’s what made me really want to tell these stories finally.”

Meanwhile, Nikki Bella is now happily engaged to Dancing With the Stars dancer Artem Chigvintsev and she is also 26 weeks pregnant with his child.

Twin sisters Brie and Nikki Bella returned to the promotional trail on Tuesday following the release of their hard-hitting memoir, Incomparable.

The 36-year old siblings, who are both pregnant, are currently celebrating the launch of their tell-all book, a candid account of their difficult upbringing and subsequent rise through the ranks of professional wrestling.

Appearing on Wednesday’s edition of Good Morning America, the identical sisters admitted they were doing their best to ‘stay calm through the chaos’ surrounding their bombshell revelations while preparing for the birth of their babies. They are doing promotion on social media of their virtual book signing amid lockdown due to coronavirus.

Earlier the former WWE wrestler wrote on her Instagram account “Our memoir, Incomparable is officially out!! So happy, scared, nervous and excited!”.

“This has been a dream for Brie and I, and we hope you enjoy this book as much as we do. It’s not just a memoir, it’s an inspirational, motivational, and empowerment book. We want to help you all become the heroes of your own stories like we have become in our own. We all can be survivors!” She added.

Reflecting on her pregnancy, Nikki said: ‘It’s so weird because Brie and I, this my first time, but we have the same pregnancies, the same symptoms, we’re kind of having our own set of twins, I know it sounds weird but being a week and a half apart…’

‘This is my second pregnancy,’ added Brie, who raises daughter Birdie with husband  Daniel Bryan.

‘I have a three year old daughter, but it’s so different from my first so it’s so weird for me to be exactly like her because it’s so different.’

The twins also revealed they were stunned after discovering they were both pregnant within two days of each other.
