Kaia Gerber was recently deemed part of fashion’s ‘new wave of top-tier models.’
And on Saturday, the 18-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford proved her dedication to her craft by working past the woes of quarantine to get in a rigorous workout.
‘So grateful to be able to stay active during this time,’ captioned Gerber, who shared a pic of her toned abdominal muscles to Instagram.
In the photo, Kaia posed on her side as she aimed her camera in the direction of a nearby mirror.
She wore a flattering navy blue sports bra and slipped her slender stems into a pair of coordinating athletic leggings.
Her brown jaw length hair was tied back into a pony tail and her face appeared to be devoid of makeup.
She rested atop a light blue yoga mat, while various pieces of gym machinery resided in the background.
Kaia had everything from a balance ball to a treadmill at her disposal.
The Vogue covergirl has been hunkered down with mom Cindy, 54, dad Rande Gerber, 58, and brother Presley, 20, at their family home located in Malibu, CA.
Kaia has been attempting to keep herself occupied by working out, fostering puppies in need, and hosting her weekly book club on Instagram.
The book club is simple: Kaia assigns a book each week and then hosts a livestream with a special guest to discuss its plot points and themes.
So on Saturday, Gerber announced that ‘in honor of mother’s day’ she is having mom Cindy on her livestream ‘next Friday’ to discuss the Delia Owens novel Where The Crawdads Sing.
‘She is the reason i read, and is responsible for the majority of my recommendations,’ admitted Kaia.
Before signing off, she reminded her social media following to ‘call [their] mom’ on Sunday.
Even in quarantine, Kaia has continued to grace magazine covers.
On Friday she unveiled her stunning spread for the June 2020 issue of British Vogue, which showed Kaia in side profile as she modeled a black dress with rivets and lace up seams.
