Yet she was inspired by another star on Friday, as she channelled Marilyn Monroe’s voluminous blonde bob for a sexy snap she posted to Instagram.

The rapper, 27, gave her own modern twist on the 50s icon’s timeless updo, as her locks were dyed in a two-tone ombre style.

Cardi’s pal Jessenia Gallegos, noted the nod to the actress and commented on the snap: ‘WOW!! Looking like a modern day Marilyn Monroe.’

The Bodak Yellow singer was putting on a busty display in a plunging black unitard which highlighted her more than ample assets and hourglass frame.

Cardi kept her look typically glamorous as she sported a full face of make-up, including a dramatic smokey-eye complete with winged liner.

She posed for the sultry photograph on lavish bed and captioned the images: ‘Baby I got you.’

Cardi later switched up her look as she posted a picture of herself wearing a bouncy blonde wig, which matched her tiny bubblegum crop top.

The singer flaunted her curvaceous frame in a pair of denim hot pants, as she lounged on an outdoor sofa on her sun-soaked terrace.

Cardi posted some footage of the photo-shoot to her Insta Stories that day to prove to her 64.2 million followers that she had used ‘No filter.’

She filmed herself in what appeared to be an elevator while wearing her photo-shoot outfit, seemingly en route to the terrace where the pinup shot was taken.

The star appeared keen to prove that her she doesn’t enhance her jaw-dropping frame.
